Christina comes from a family of accomplished home cooks. Most training has been field taught, working for restaurants in the Midwest. She’s had additional training from the Culinary Business Academy for personal chefs, as well as professionals at the Restaurant School of Philadelphia and the Institute for Culinary Education in New York City. She continues to educate herself on the latest techniques while incorporating a healthy lifestyle. Christina is a ServSafe® certified safe food handler, fully insured, and a premiere member of the United States Personal Chef Association. In addition, Christina is an active member of EWomen Network and donates her time to various local charities, including the Twilight Wish Foundation and Manna of Pennsylvania. A teacher at heart, she loves educating others showcasing cooking techniques and world cuisine, as in her entertaining cooking classes at Williams Sonoma in Ardmore and Foster's Homeware in Center City. She has guest lectured at the Art Institute of Philadelphia in their culinary program. Christina has been featured in the Philadelphia Daily News and radio and podcasts. She continues to make appearances in local media, including CBS news, CN8 news and NBC 10. She will be featured cooking a dinner party for 8 on the Fine Living Channel this winter. |
